Bee Buddy terms and privacy policy

Bee Buddy: Spelling Bee is a spelling practice app for children. It helps learners listen to words, type or speak spelling attempts, review tricky moments, and build confidence through short practice missions.

Bee Buddy is provided by Altai Ventures LLC. These terms and privacy practices apply to Bee Buddy on iPhone, iPad, TestFlight, and future App Store releases.

Bee Buddy is designed to keep practice data minimal. The current app stores practice progress, settings, and learning state locally on the device so the app can show progress and personalize practice.

Altai Ventures does not sell personal data, does not use Bee Buddy data for third-party advertising, and does not use cross-app tracking.

If a child chooses voice spelling, Bee Buddy asks for microphone and speech recognition permission. Voice spelling is optional; typed spelling remains available.

Speech recognition is used to turn the spoken attempt into text for the practice session. Bee Buddy does not use voice input for advertising or tracking.

Bee Buddy may use local audio assets, Apple's built-in voices, or a remote helper service to generate natural Buddy voice audio for practice prompts and feedback.

When remote voice features are used, the app sends the practice text needed to generate audio. These features are used to provide the requested learning experience, not to identify users or serve ads.

Bee Buddy may offer sign-in, saved settings, saved progress, or subscription features in future releases. If account features are enabled, account information is used to provide the app experience and restore access.

Bee Buddy Plus purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Altai Ventures does not receive or store full payment card details.

Bee Buddy is intended to support children's learning. We do not knowingly sell children's personal information or use children's data for third-party advertising.

Bee Buddy may be used for personal, family, and educational spelling practice. You may not misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer services, interfere with app operations, or use the app for unlawful purposes.

Bee Buddy is provided as is and may change over time. Features, word sets, voice behavior, subscription options, and availability may be updated as the app improves.

We may update these terms and privacy practices when the app changes. The updated date on this page will reflect material updates.
